Michael "Mike" Lynn Campbell, 63, of Eden passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at his residence.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Monday, May 17, 2021 at Boone & Cooke, Inc. Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in Ridge-View Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at the funeral home and other times at the residence.

Mike was born in Guilford County on March 16, 1958 a son of Ralph Junior Campbell and Mary "Ruth" McCraw Campbell, both deceased. Mike was retired from the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office and from Nance and Nance Trucking Company.

He is survived by his wife, Gwendolyn "Gwen" Coleman Campbell of the home; his son, Jacob Michael Campbell of Eden; his brothers, Marty Campbell and wife, Barb of Eden and Mitch Campbell and wife, Nadine of Brosville, VA; his sisters, Robin Michelle "Misty" Campbell and Trey of Charlotte and Lisa Campbell Wilson and husband, William of Reidsville; his adopted sister, Missy Hayes and husband Tim; best friends, Steve Voss and wife, Candy and many extended family and friends whom he loved dearly.

The family would like to thank the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office for honoring Mike by participating in his service as pallbearers.

The Fireman's Hut at 220 Fireman Club Road in Eden will be open on Monday, May 17, 2021 from 12 until 5pm for anyone who is dropping off food or wants to meet with family and friends.
