Michael Lee Smith, 49, of Reidsville, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Moses Cone Hospital.

A private family service will be held.

Michael was born in Reidsville on March 12, 1971, a son of Billie Minor Smith and the late David Cozart Smith.  He worked as a boiler maker and welder.

He is survived by his children, Joshua Davis Smith, Janelle Lorraine Smith, Justin Cordell Smith and Jania Danelle Smith, all of Reidsville; his mother Billie Minor Smith of Reidsville; his siblings, Wayne Smith and wife Serena of Reidsville, Jason Smith of Mayodan, Brenda Isley of Reidsville, Barbara Jean Cobb and husband Steve of Reidsville; and his grandchildren, Joshua David Smith, Jr., Amani Ny'Shea Pinkard, Kameron Mills, Adelyn Sams and Justin Smith, Jr. on the way.
