Monica Dale White Adkins, 92, of Climax, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2022, at her residence.

The funeral service will be 2:00PM Friday, December 23, 2022, at Reformed Baptist Community Church, 8745 NC-14, Eden. Interment will follow in Dan-View Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service from 1 until 2pm.

Monica was born on November 29, 1930, the daughter of Joseph Thomas White and Beatrice Hall White, both deceased. She worked as a cost accountant first for Fieldcrest Mills and later for Lorillard Tobacco Company.

She is survived by her son, Clyde C. Adkins, III. of Thomasville; her daughter, Valerie Coble and husband, Gary of Climax, NC; her brother, Kenneth White and wife, Nancy of Rhinelander, WI.; her grandchildren, Michelle Mullins and husband, Jack, Monica Walters, Stephanie Coble and Dennis Coble and wife, Whitney and his great grandchildren, Kayla Walters, Brennan Walters, Izabelle Mullins, Lydia Simmerson, McKenna Simmerson, Valerie Simmerson, Olivia Coble and Jaxson Mullins.

In addition to her parents, Monica was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde C. Adkins, Jr. and her brothers, Billy White, Val White and Frank White.
