Morgan Malvin Hite, Jr., 72, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 13, 2021 at the Coliseum Northside Hospital in Macon, Georgia.

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Ridge-View Memorial Gardens.  Facial coverings are required.  Mr. Hite will lie in state at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home, 7671 NC 770, Eden, NC from 1 until 2 pm before the service for viewing.

Morgan was born in Warrenton, NC on January 22, 1949, a son of Morgan Malvin Hite, Sr. and Elizabeth Paynter Hite Marr, both deceased.  He formerly worked for American Tobacco Co.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Kay Chilton "K.C." Hite and his brother, Warren Thomas Hite, Sr.

Morgan is survived by his sisters, Barbara Shifflett and husband Arthur, Patricia Weis and husband Donald; his sister-in-law, Vickie Hite; his niece and three nephews and their families as well as his extended family.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Pastor Benny Wood of Tri-City Baptist Church who led Morgan Jr. and KC to the Lord, Pastor Holmes and the church family of Gilead Baptist Church, Macon, GA, Diane Failor, Greg Woods and family for all of the love and care shown to Morgan during his illness.
