Nancy left us too soon, passing just two months shy of her 91st birthday.  She was born on Flag Day in 1931 and in her ninety years she married the love of her life, raised two children, had four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Born in a time when Eden, NC was divided into three parts, she became a nurse and started her family in her hometown.  She followed her beloved husband, Sam (who preceded her in death) to Virginia, first in Richmond and then in retirement to Wicomico Church, where she had many friends. She loved entertaining and taught everyone she met how to play cards.  Later in life, they returned to Eden, where they spent their final years living among friends and family.

Her daughter, Deborah Reynolds left this earth too soon, before her mother's passing.

She is survived by her son, Don Reynolds of Norfolk, VA; her grandchildren, Jeff Myers (Bambi Garnett), Deena Myers (William Smith), Lindsey Reynolds (Jeremy Baker) and Trevor Reynolds; her great grandchildren, Lauren Myers, Rianna Myers, Kaiden Myers, Mason Baker, MacKenna Smith; and her great great granddaughter, Macie Myers.

There will be no funeral.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Hospice of Rockingham County, PO Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375.
