Naomi Frances Rigney Kizer, 85, of Eden, passed away Sunday afternoon, August 27, 2023, at UNC Rockingham Rehab and Nursing Center.

Per her wishes, there will be no formal services at this time.

A native of Rockingham County, Naomi was born in Spray on October 17, 1937, to the late James Fletcher Rigney, and Louise Wimbish Rigney. She retired from Dan River Water, Inc. where she worked as a secretary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Lenny Kizer; and daughter, Tanya Kizer Patterson.

She is survived by her son-in-law, Benny Patterson; grandson, Justin Patterson, and wife Mary Southard Patterson; sister, Karen Johnson, and husband David; and grandchildren, Sarah, and Isabella Patterson.
