Nelson " Charlie" Eugene Pruit, 53, of Eden passed away on Wednesday July 6, 2022 at the Hospice Home of Rockingham County.

A graveside service will be held on July 15, 2022 at 11am at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Reidsville.

Charlie was born on February 10, 1969 a son of Robert Clyde Pruitt and Shelby Christine Fincannon Pruitt, both deceased. He was subcontractor and vinyl siding installer.

He is survived by his brother, Robert Pruitt of Eden; his uncles, Ed Pruitt and wife, Brenda of Caswell County and Earl Pruitt and wife, Linda of Whispering Pines, NC; his aunt, Jean Fincannon of Eden and his cousins, Barbara Pruitt of Lexington, Virginia Bailey of Reidsville and Cindy Lewis of Reidsville and numerous other cousins.
