Norma Deep Brackett, 86, of Oak Ridge, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Cone Health in Greensboro, NC.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Norma was born in Sherburne, New York on June 7, 1936, daughter of Louis and Jennie Deep, of Clark Mills, New York, both deceased.

Preceding her death was her husband, Donald Roy Brackett, Sr. of 65 years, infant son Dana Michael, youngest son, Donald Roy Brackett, Jr. (Juli) . Norma was a military veteran of the United States Airforce and the Korean War, and Licensed Practical Nurse.

She is survived by her son; Matthew Rodman Brackett of Jacksonville, Florida, her daughter, Jeannine Brackett-Griffin (Jay) of Pleasant Garden, NC; Sisters Amelia Jean Deep and Helen Christine Lallier; and brother Norman Paul Deep; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, and many more loving family members and friends…too many to list, but all much loved by her.
