Norman Richard "Ricky" Smith (nicknamed Porky), 66, of Eden, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at the Hospice Home of Rockingham County.

A private service will be held.

Ricky was born in Martinsville, VA on May 16, 1954, a son of Dorothy Hancock Walker and the late Carlton Smith.  He worked for Central Storage.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Juanita Smith.

Ricky is survived by his daughter, Chasity Anderson and husband Jason of Bassett, VA; his mother, Dorothy Walker of Eden; his step mother, Elaine Smith of Ruffin; his siblings, Reda Shields and husband Bobby of Eden, and Cheryl Mann and husband Kent of Bowling Green, KY.
