Pamela Sparks "Pam" Mabe, 66, passed away at her residence in Eden, NC on January 25, 2026.

A memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel.

Pam was born in Reidsville on March 10, 1959 to her parents, Alex Ramond Sparks and Ruby Poindexter Sparks, both deceased.  In addition to her parents care, she was also raised by her stepfather, Dewey Shough, also deceased.

She was also predeceased by her siblings, Brad Sparks, Terri Sparks, Conway Shough, her nephew, Brandon Myott and her granddaughter, Copelin Bates.

Pam is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Hodges (Chris) of Eden; her son, Michael Hodges of Eden; her siblings, Sandy Myott of Eden, Ronnie Shough of Ruffin, Jennifer Sheets (Mike) of Tazewell, VA, Mary Ann Hawks (Clinton) of Tazewell, VA; her grandchildren, Tylon Hodges (Kaitlyn), Hanna Bates (Cody), Chelsea Cool, Jordan Hodges, Alyssa Ratliff, Brandalyn Hodges; seven great grandchildren with one on the way; and her nephew, Alex Hankins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Boone & Cooke, Funeral Home.
