Pamela Lee Mabe Rice, 54, of Summerfield passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 10 am Monday, November 3, 2025 at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in Greenview Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 9 until 10 am Monday before the service at the funeral home and other times at 157 Minnie Lane in Summerfield.

Pamela was born in Reidsville on March 8, 1971, a daughter of Nancy Lovelace Mabe and the late Curtis Wayne Mabe.

In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Carolyn and Richard Lee Rice, Sr.; her brother-in-law, Timothy Lee Frick, and her sister-in-law, Shannon Dale Frick.

Pamela is survived by her husband Richard Lee Rice of the home; her mother, Nancy Lovelace Mabe of Summerfield; her siblings, Penny Mabe (Russ Snow) of Smith Mountain Lake, VA, Curtis Wayne Mabe, Jr. (Brittiney) of Summerfield, Sam Mabe (Emery) of Summerfield; her brother-in-law, Richard Pierce Rice of Rocky Mount; her nieces, Savannah, Lillyanna, Iraina, Alissa; and her nephews, Brandon, Bryson, Josh, Levi, Boo Boo, Phoenix and Kawaii.
