Marion "Pauline" Lemons Baynes, 92, of Summerfield, formally of Eden passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at her residence.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023 at 1 pm at Boone and Cooke Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Ridge-View Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends on Sunday evening, March 5, 2023 from 6 until 8pm at Boone and Cooke Funeral Home.

Pauline was born on October 1, 1930 a daughter of Marion Lemons and Ellen Lemons, both deceased. She retired from Fieldcrest Mills.

Pauline is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Brown of Stoneville and Brenda Briggs of Martinsville, VA; her son Michael Baynes and wife, Donna of Summerfield; her grandchildren, Gina Brinkley, Shannon Barker, Chris Baynes, Marian Baynes, Ashley Baynes, Abby Baynes, Michael Baynes, Jr. and her nephew, Larry Lemons and wife, Ann.

In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Thomas Baynes; sons, Frank Baynes and Tim Baynes; her siblings, Alfred Lemons, Clarice Odell, Frances Mabe, Lillian McHouston and Sissy Hutcherson.
