Obituary

Peggy Lynn Ping Berlin, 73, of Eden passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Annie Penn Memorial Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home with Evangelist Leland Ping II officiating.  Entombment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.  The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 am before the service at the funeral home.

Peggy was born in Indianapolis, IN on December 5, 1949, a daughter of Roscoe Tarter Ping and Mildred Long Ping, both deceased.  She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Darin Lee Ping.

Peggy is survived by her husband, John Delbert Berlin; her children, Deanna Berlin (Nicholas) of Stokesdale, Candace Cook (Brad) of Ohio, Melanie Bowes (Mike) of Eden and John Berlin (Kristen) of Summerfield; her siblings, Charlene Dorn (Clarence) of Indiana, Rosanna Cadwell (James) of Indiana, Larry Ping (Linda) of Florida, and Jennifer Alexander (James) of Florida; her grandchildren, Nathan Ramey, Amanda Humphrey (Kenneth), Justin Berlin (Hannah), Brandon Cook, Christopher Bowes (Hannah), Alexis Bowes, Corbyn Berlin and Kooper Berlin; and her great grandchildren, Alivia Humphrey, Logan Ramey, Landon Ramey, Faith Berlin, Easton Berlin; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, monetary gifts may be provided to John D. Berlin, spouse.
