Raven Ophelia Hanshaw of Reidsville, NC passed away late Sunday evening, March 9, 2025, in the loving embrace of her parent's arms at Brenner Children's Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC.

Raven was born on Monday, February 17, 2025, to Matthew and Patience Blair Hanshaw, joining her sister, Willow.  Despite her short time on this earth, she was deeply loved and brought immense joy to those around her.

In addition to her parents, Matthew and Patience, she is survived by her big sister, Willow Hanshaw; her maternal grandparents, Dale and Susan Terry Finney of Reidsville and Jeff Dyer of Reidsville; her maternal great grandmother, Arlene Terry of Eden; her paternal great grandmother, Sonia Hanshaw of Axton, VA; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Raven is predeceased by her paternal grandmother, Cynthia Caldwell; her paternal grandfather, Joseph Hanshaw; her maternal great grandfather, Aubrey Caldwell and wife Linda; her maternal great grandfather, William Terry and her paternal great grandfather, Harmon "Jack" Hanshaw.

There will be a Celebration of Life to honor the memory of this beautiful baby announced on a later date as we take this time to mourn the loss of our baby girl.
