Raymond Samuel Wilson, 78, of Madison passed away on Tuesday morning, May 5, 2026, at Annie Penn Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Darrell Boles officiating. Interment will follow in Ridge-View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 pm Thursday before the service.

Mr. Wilson was born on August 28, 1947, in Leaksville, NC. He was a US Army veteran. He held the rank of Seargeant and served in the Vietnam War.

Preceding him in death are his mother, Ruby Wilson; his father, Paul Wilson; his brothers, Albert Wilson, James Wilson, Marvin Wilson; his sisters, Cathy Mabe, Inez Odell and his daughter, Madonna Wilson.

Surviving is his son, Bryant Wilson; his daughter, Tammy Whitley, his sister, Everline Scearce; and several grandchildren.
