Raymond Wray, 84, of Eden passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at UNC Rockingham Rehab. & Nursing Center.

To honor his wishes, there will be no services.

Raymond was born in Rockingham County, on December 22, 1939, a son of Fred Lee Wray and Frances Gibson Wray, both deceased.   He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.  He retired from Mohawk Rug Mill as a weaver.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Donald Lea Wray and his brother, Joe Wray.

Raymond is survived by his children, Paula Wray Hines (Rick) of Eden, Linda Wray (Merlyn) of Knoxville, Tennessee and Larry Lee Wray (Elodie) of Stoneville; his siblings, Willie Wray (Ursula) of Eden and Lillie Hewitt of Madison; his grandchildren, Joey Landreth, Chris Goodman (Christy), Stephanie Tuttle (Casey), Justin Goodman, Jacob Wray, Brittany Wray, Carrigan Wray, Kyler Wray (Rebecca), and Quinton Wray (Ashley); and his nine great grandchildren.
