Regina Faye Phillips Pierce, 78, of Rockingham County passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024, at Authora Care Hospice Home of Alamance.

A funeral service will be held at 3 pm Monday, March 4, 2024 at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in Thompsonville Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 pm on Monday before the service at the funeral home.

Faye was born in Caswell County on March 4, 1945, the daughter of Inez Perkins Phillips and the late Cosmo Acy Phillips.  She was a retired social worker with the Guilford County Dept. of Social Services.

She is survived by her children, Regina Marlette Pierce and husband John Stuart Kubota of Las Vegas, NV, John Henry Pierce V of Ruffin. Alanna Faye Pierce of Burlington; her mother Inez Perkins Phillips of Elon; her brother, John Paul Phillips and wife Sherry of Elon; her grandchildren, Regina Gail Pierce Patterson, Taylor Christine Pierce Corcoran, Don Jeffrey Pierce, Shallan Yaeko Marvette Kubota, Meaghan Yoshieye Regine Kubota, Grier Tsutonu Stetphan Kubota; and her seven great grandchildren.
