Mr. Robert Wade Brown, Sr., 76, passed away Monday, February 20, 2023 at UNC Rockingham Nursing and Rehab.

The funeral service will be 2:00PM Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Hickory Grove United Methodist Church in Pelham, NC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service from 1 until 2PM.

A native of Danville, Virginia, Mr. Brown was born October 8, 1946, to the late Robert Ernest Brown and Avvie Hearp Brown. He retired as Master Sergeant with the United States Air Force, and later went on to drive a truck for Dan Valley Foods.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his spouse, Tomacin "Cindy" Ricker Brown; and siblings, Jimmy R. Brown and Celestra Faye Satazan.

He is survived by his children, Robert Wade Brown, Jr. and wife Kelly of Danville, Virginia Brown of Maine; grandchildren, Robert "Hayden" Brown, Mary Jane Brown, and Karinna Beacham.
