Robert "Wayne" McDaniel, Jr., 68, of Eden passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at UNC Rockingham Healthcare in Eden.

Wayne was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 9,1956, a son of Robert Wayne McDaniel, Sr. and Daisy Holt McDaniel. He was a US Air Force veteran.  He worked as a mechanic at Sara Lee.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Daisy Holt McDaniel and his sister, Yolanda McDaniel.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Melanie Griffith McDaniel of Eden; his children, Lisa Sellers of Eden and Bryon McDaniel of Eden; his father, Robert Wayne McDaniel, Sr. of Eden; his siblings, Rusty Woods of Baltimore, Maryland and Amy Weber and husband, Rick of Delaware; and his grandchildren, Cody Albertson, Keyleigh Talbert and Madison Wheatley.
