William Robert Westbrooks, 70, of Eden passed away on Tuesday evening, May 25, 2021 at his residence.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3 pm Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Boone & Cooke, Inc. Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 pm on Saturday at the funeral home before the service and other times at the residence.

Robert was born in Roxboro on January 31, 1951, a son of John and Cora Westbrooks, both deceased.  He was retired from National Textiles.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Frank Westbrooks, Harold Westbrooks, James Westbrooks, Bobby Westbrooks and Virginia Gulley.

Robert is survived by his wife, Katherine Walker Westbrooks of the home; his children, Christopher Paul Westbrooks and wife Wendy of Eden, Gary Westbrooks and wife Stacy of Burlington and James "Jamie" Ryland Oldham of Raleigh; his brothers, Jack Westbrooks of Graham and Johnny Westbrooks and wife Nettie of Graham; his grandchildren, Katrina Westbrooks, Ashley Walker, Megan "Harley" Westbrooks, Alayna Westbrooks, Aidan Westbrooks, Hunter Westbrooks, Korion Westbrooks, Kalyn Westbrooks, Rowan Westbrooks, Laken Westbrooks; his great grandson, Isaac Sanford; and his special friend, Rick Hairston.
