Roberta Phyllis Case Shockley, 89, of Eden passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2024 at UNC Rockingham Hospital.

There will be a celebration of Roberta's life at a later date.

Roberta was born in Charlottesville, Virginia on August 11,1935, the daughter of Richard Ranson Case and Phyllis Gilbert Case, both deceased. She was a Navy veteran and did secretarial work.

She is survived by her children, Rhapsody Rhodes of Eden, Robin Shockley Mitchell and husband, Tim of Tennessee and Robert Alan Shockley and wife, Ronnie of Texas; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents Roberta was predeceased in death by her son, Richard Phillip Shockley.
