Mr. Roger Lee Baker, 79, of Reidsville, passed away early Saturday morning, June 17, 2023, at Eden Rehab and Nursing Center.

Per his wishes, a graveside service will be held at a later date.

A native of Guilford County, he was born April 18, 1944, to the late Roy Baker and Julia Sherrill Baker. After high school, he went to work with his father at Baker Shoe Repair, from which he would later retire.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by many siblings.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Pearman Baker of the home; daughters, Lisa McGhee and husband Charles, Melinda Oakes and husband Dale, Lisa Slade Swisher and husband Jeffrey, Wendy Peebles and husband Brian, and Cindy Bailey; as well as several grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
