Roger Dale Pruitt, Jr., 43, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at his residence.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 3pm at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel.

Roger was born in Eden on July 16, 1979 the son of Roger Dale Pruitt, Sr., and Miriam Ashburn Pruitt, both deceased. He worked as a brick mason.

He is survived by his children, Alexis Pruitt, Austin Pruitt, Abigail Hearn, and Hayden Pruitt all of Eden; his sister, Melissa Crayton and husband Jason of Reidsville; and his fiancé, Tara Rakes.

The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service, from 2 until 3pm at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home.
