Roger Dale Witcher, 79, of Stokes County passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025, at his residence.

There will be no formal services for Mr. Witcher.

Roger was born in Guilford County on July 2, 1946, a son of Wellington Lee Witcher, Jr. "Sonny" and Mildred Barnes Witcher, both deceased. He was of the Baptist faith. He worked as a carpenter and loved mechanic work. In his off time, he loved dirt track racing.

He is survived by his sons, William Dale Witcher and wife, Tiana of Cleburne, TX and Christopher Lee Witcher of Minnestoa; his brothers, Geraldean Gordan of Thomasville, NC, Joe Witcher of Greensboro, NC, Daniel Witcher and wife, Gay of Greensboro, NC and Sonny Witcher and wife, Barbara of Germanton, NC; his sister, Meta Davis and husband, Ronald of Advance, NC; 7 grandchildren and 4 greatgrandchildren.
