Ronald Joe "Ron" Skidmore, 69, of Stoneville passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021 at Annie Penn Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am Friday, September 10, 2021 at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Ridge-View Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 am Friday at the funeral home.  The service will be live streamed on the Boone and Cooke Facebook page.

Ron was born in Greensboro on August 17, 1952, the son of Edna Keister Skidmore and the late Joe Nelson Skidmore.  He was retired from Lorillard.

Ron is survived by his wife, Shelby Cassell Skidmore of the home; his children, Carol Thompson and husband Dwayne of Copper Hill, VA, Christina Keith of Eden, Linda Yarbrough and husband Chuck of Stoneville; his mother, Edna Skidmore of Eden; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
