Ronald Franklin Wilson, 67, of Eden passed away on Monday, June 9, 2025 at Ancora Compassionate Care Hospice Home.

Service arrangements are incomplete.

Ronald was born in Eden on June 19, 1957, a son of Edward Franklin Wilson and Sylvia Cox Wilson, both deceased.  He retired from the US Navy.  He enjoyed walking on the beach, collecting and digging for seashells with his daughter.  Learning about local history and hunting for arrowheads was very important to him as well as playing video games with his grandchildren.  He was a loving, patient and loyal husband, father and grandfather.  He will truly be missed as he is finally free.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Patty Jean Lawson Wilson, and his brother, Donald P. Wilson.

Surviving are his daughter, Angela Hill of Eden; his stepsons, Michael Hazelwood (Robin) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Tony Hazelwood (Angie) of Bassett, VA; his grandchild, Matthew F. Wilson; and his step grandchildren, Dylan Hazelwood, Faith Hazelwood, Shanna Hazelwood and Seth Hazelwood.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Ronald's memory to Ancora Compassionate Care, PO Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375.
