Royce Don Smith, 80, of Eden passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021 at the Brian Center.

A service of remembrance will be held at 6 pm Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Boone & Cooke, Inc. Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Benny Wood officiating. The family will receive friends after the service.

Don was born in Texas on July 21, 1940.  He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a truck driver.

He is survived by his children, Cindy Anthony of Eden and Billy Smith of Suffex, VA; his grandchildren, Nina Smith, Jamay Hill, Kyle Smith, Ruben Diaz, Loranna Anthony and his great great grandson, Eli Smith.
