Ruby Dillard Pruitt Reese, 95, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020 at UNC Rockingham Nursing Center.

A graveside service will be 2:00PM Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Dan-View Cemetery. There will be no formal visitation.  Those who would like to pay their respects may come by Boone & Cooke Funeral Home on Wednesday before 1 pm.

A native of Rockingham County, Ruby was born on February 1, 1925, to the late Tom and Lena Pruitt.  She was retired from Fieldcrest Mills.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Ernest Reese; son, Jimmy Ray Reese; and siblings, Mitzi Dean, and Marshelene Troxler.

She is survived by her son, Jackie Lee Reese of Ruffin; sister, Nancy Gover of Eden; grandchildren, Michelle Cass and husband Eddie, Jay Reese and wife Jennifer, Robbie Reese and wife Sarah, Michael Reese and wife Jan; great-grandchildren, Brittany, Hannah, Jessica, Julie, Katelyn, and Mackenzie.

Memorial contributions may be made to Draper Christian Church, 1122 W. Fieldcrest Rd. Eden, NC 27288.
