Saijel Ianyas
Williams
May 2, 2001 — Aug 31, 2021
Saijel Ianyas Williams, 20, of Eden passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.
A celebration of life service will be held at 12 pm Monday, September 6, 2021 at Draper Christian Church. The family will receive friends from 11 am until 12 pm before the service at the church.
Saijel was born in Eden on May 2, 2001, a daughter of Ian Landon Williams and Samantha Vaden Williams. Saijel raced four-wheelers, danced solo in the spotlight on center stage and cheered for the team. She swam like a fish, graduated early and liked to add a little "bling". Her favorite people were her daughter, Valerie, and her sister and best friend, Sydnie. She had known love and loss.
Saijel said many times she believed her daughter to be her greatest accomplishment. Overcoming frightening odds and great risk for herself, she chose the gift of life for her daughter.
Saijel believed in Jesus. We hope that through her life and tragic death, the seed might be planted for others to personally come to know our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. And we know that all the angels will rejoice in heaven.
We are very grateful for the 20 years we had with our precious Saijel and for having a part of her with us still. We also feel a loss for those who never had the opportunity to know her.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Layla Saijel Williams and her grandmother, Lynda Vaden.
Saijel is survived by her daughter, Valerie Imagine Rubio of Eden; her father, Ian Landon Williams of Eden; her mother, Samantha Vaden Williams of Mayodan; her sister, Sydnie Imagine Williams; her grandparents, Janet Gardner (David) of Eden, Terry Vaden of Mayodan, Landon Williams of Reidsville; and her great grandmothers, Margie Vaden and Lera Kinton.
Flowers may be delivered to Draper Christian Church before the service.
Boone & Cooke, Inc. Funeral Home is serving the family of Ms. Williams.
