Samuel Glenn Sharp, 71, of Eden passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Hospital.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

Samuel was born in Tabor City, NC on April 14, 1953, a son of Catherine Garrell.  He graduated from Tabor City High School, in the Class of 1971.  He worked at various radio stations as a disc jockey and announcer.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Willard and Edith Garrell.

Samuel is survived by his beloved companion, Beth Dalton of the home; his mother Catherine Garrell of Whiteville, NC; his siblings, Sharon Hannis of Vista, CA, Robert Ruiz of Austin, TX and Alan Ruiz of Whiteville, NC; and several nieces and nephews.
