Sandra Lee Meeks Mabes, 63, of Eden passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at UNC Rockingham Health Care.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 until 8 pm on Friday, June 18, 2021 at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home.

Sandra was born in Eden on August 4, 1957, a daughter of Hubert Lincoln Meeks and Anna Kemp Meeks, both deceased.  She formerly worked for Frontier Spinning.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, William Howard Mabes of the home; her daughters, Christal Leigh Mabes of Eden and Carrie Lyn Mabes Smith and husband Chad of Gaffney, SC; her sister, Mary Lynne Meeks Barnes of Eden; her brother, Johnston Kemp of North, VA; and her grandchild, Leesee Christley.
