Sandra Jane Tilley Smith, 59, of Eden went home to be with the Lord on October 7, 2020 at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Boone & Cooke, Inc. Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Sandy Brown officiating.  Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Friday, October 9, 2020 at the funeral home and other times at the home of Justin Tilley, 214 Forrest Drive, Reidsville, NC

Sandra was born in Greensboro on August 25, 1961, a daughter of Jesse Tilley and Shirley Bowman, both deceased.  She was a homemaker who loved watching soap operas, spending time with her grandson, Jacob, and eating Saturday lunch with her sisters.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Steve Smith, and her step father, Ray Bowman.

Sandra is survived by her daughter, Connie Gibbs and husband David; her grandchildren, David Jacob Gibbs and Alexis Gibbs; her siblings, Ester Lawrence and husband Willie, Linda Hopkins and husband Terry, Justin Tilley and wife Tina, Curtis Tilley and wife Karen; her seven nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and great nephews.

Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
