Mrs. Sarah Frances Holt Penley, 83, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at her residence.

Per her wishes, there will be no formal services at this time.

She was born March 8, 1939, in Salisbury, NC to the late Charles Wilbert Holt, and Frances Bost Holt. Sarah worked as a medical secretary and was a member of Leaksville United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Lee Penley of the home; daughter, Robin Small and husband Rob of Statesville; siblings, Barry Holt and wife Robin of Manteo, Brenda Kivett of Kernersville; and her grandchildren, Tate House, and Kailey House.
