Sarah Reynolds Perdue, 82, of Eden passed on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at her residence.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 2pm at Overlook Cemetery. A visitation will be held at 12:30 until 1:30pm at Boone and Cooke Funeral Home prior to the service on Tuesday.

Sarah was born in Panther West Virginia on May 21, 1943, a daughter of Randolph Reynolds and Viola Mullins Reynolds, both deceased. She worked at Fieldcrest Mills.

She is survived by her grandson, Juan "Alex" Alexander Watkins of the home; her niece, Teresa Oliver of Eden and many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sarah was predeceased by her sons, Richard Murphy Johns and Bobby Ray Groover and 12 brothers and sisters.
