Shandy Lou Trollinger, 39, of Eden passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at her home.

A gathering of friends and family will be held from 6 until 9 pm on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at her hosm, 208 B Austin Drive in Eden.

Shandy was born in Reidsville on November 8, 1985, and was a daughter of Frances Watkins Trollinger and the late Michael Spencer Trollinger.  She was a manager for Dollar General.

Shandy's whole heart was for her son. He is without a doubt the love of her life.  She was the toughest woman with the softest heart.  She loved her family.  She would use her days off to visit family and friends.  Shandy was notorious for showing up at her sister's house with boxes of goodies for her nieces and treats for the dogs.  She was always a daddy's girl who adored her momma.

In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her grandparents, Lou and Spencer Trollinger, Sonny and Mary Owens, William Hampton Watkins and her special aunt, Margaret Cannon.

Shandy is survived by her son, Tavares Trollinger; her step daughter, Maci Rich; her mother, Frances "Sissy" Watkins Hogan (Johnny); her sister, Michele Neigel (Daniel); her uncles, Chuck Owens, Bill Watkins; her nieces, Ashlee Stophel (Wayne) and Amber Stevens (Brandon); and her great nieces, Rue, Izabell, Everly, Izaak, Riley and Ezra.
