Sydnor "Syd" Leon Sutliff, Jr., 71, of Stoneville passed away early Tuesday morning, June 23, 2020.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Friday, June 26, 2020 at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in Ridge-View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the residence.

Syd was born in Eden on June 24, 1948, a son of Nellie London Odell and the late Sydnor Leon Sutliff, Sr.  He was a retired truck driver for Carolina Tank Lines.  He was an Army veteran.  He was a member of Tri-City Baptist Church where he drove the church bus for over 20 years.

He is survived by his wife Paula Denny Sutliff; his children, Ritchie Leon Sutliff of Stoneville, Angel Walker and husband Keith of Madison, Nicky Edwards and husband Frankie of Eden; his mother, Nellie London Odell of Eden; his sister, Jennifer Mounce and husband Kenny of Eden; his grandchildren, Chase Lemons, Kaleb Edwards, Emily Walker, Tyler Walker, Madalyn Edwards; and his great grandchild, Lacey Lemons.
