Sylvia Ann Harris Woods, 86, of Eden passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at UNC Rockingham Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel. A private burial will follow the service.  The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 pm before the service at the funeral home.

Sylvia was born in Eden on July 18, 1938, a daughter of Albert Ray Harris and Clara Murphy Harris, both deceased.  She was formerly a baker at Elree's Sweet Shop.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Stephen "Jack" Woods; her son, Randy Woods; and her siblings, Sue Roach, Jean Griffin and Bobby Harris.

Sylvia is survived by her children, Robin Woods of Eden, William "Jeff" Woods (Teresa) of Salisbury and Kimberly Woods of Eden; her brother, Charles Harris (Carolyn) of Eden; and her grandchild, Lorailee South.
