Tammy Edwards Truitt, 63, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, February 6, 2022.  She was born in Eden, NC on July 11, 1958.  She was the daughter of the late Phillip Ray Edwards and Betty Martin Edwards.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in Ridge-View Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 pm Tuesday before the service at the funeral home.

Tammy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, grammy, sister, aunt, niece and friend.  She loved her Lord and was a faithful member of Victory By Grace Baptist Church.  She was a former sales associate at Wal-Mart.  She was the most loving, caring, and selfless person one could be.  She enjoyed going to church, any activities involving her grandchildren, spending time with her family and most of all her many adventures with her wonderful husband.  Although she has gone to her eternal home, she will live on in our hearts through each precious memory we all will cling to.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joe Edwards.

Tammy is survived by her husband of 46 years, Bo Truitt of the home; her daughters, Christy Truitt (Robert) of Stoneville and Jennifer Rippey (Chris) of Eden; her grandchildren, Tori Bailey, Jimmy Lee Hutchens, Jr., Tanner Rippey, Kyler Rippey and Lydia Rorrer; One great grandchild, Kaysen Bailey; her brother, Jeff Edwards (Lisa) of Reidsville; her sisters-in-law, Anita Edwards of Eden and Wanda Small (Odell) of Burlington.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Boone & Cooke Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
