Tanya Len Kizer Patterson, 65, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023, at her residence.

A visitation will be held from 6-8PM on Monday, January 16, 2023 at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home.

Tanya was born in Leaksville on April 23, 1957, to the late Lenwood Hobart Kizer, and Naomi Rigney Kizer who survives. She retired as a supervisor for K-Mart. She loved flowers, reading, going to the beach, cooking, and her grandkids.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Lenwood Hobart "Lenny" Kizer, Jr.

She is survived by her loving husband, Benny Michael Patterson of the home; son, Justin Patterson and wife Mary of Eden; mother, Naomi Rigney Kizer; and grandchildren, Sarah and Isabella.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Rockingham County, P.O. Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375.
