Teresa Ann Adkins Adkins, 72, of Eden passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 at UNC Rockingham Health Care from complications of Covid.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Charity Baptist Church with Pastor Josh Patterson officiating.  Masks are required and social distancing will be observed.

Teresa was born in Eden on September 10, 1948 to the late Harry W. Adkins and Jacqueline Samuels Adkins.  She was a 1966 graduate of Morehead High School.  She worked for many years in various departments at Fieldcrest Cannon and later at Morehead Memorial Hospital.

Teresa will be remembered for her quick wit, incredible memory and the fact that she never met a stranger.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Amy Adkins Corum of the home; her granddaughter, Kalyn Corum of Eden; her son-in-law, Randy Corum of Eden; her only sister, Tammie Easter (James) of Ruffin; her favorite niece, Robin Apple (Anthony); her great niece and great nephew, Destiny and Shane Wilson of Eden; her cousin who was more like a sister, Carolyn Powell; her best friend for over 65 years, Linda Ritchie and her fur baby, Molly Girl.
