Teresa "Tossa" Grey Estes, 68, of Eden passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025, at Moses Cone Hospital.

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Dan View Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the gravesite immediately following the service.

Teresa was born in Eden on June 30, 1956, a daughter of James Calvin Estes and Mildred Brown Estes, both deceased.  She retired from Lowes Home Improvement.  She was a lifelong member of Central Christian Church.

She is survived by her siblings, Carolyn Martin and husband Bobby of Eden, Kathy Pugh of Greensboro and Donna Prater and husband Herman of Eden; her nieces and nephews, Michele Corum and husband Kevin, Kristi Prater and fiancé Jamie, Michael Pugh, Jr., Amanda Prater and Ashley Pugh; several great nieces and nephews and her lifelong friend, Joan Bailey.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of the Penn Nursing Center.
