Thomas Lee "Bud" Jones, 87, of Stoneville passed away early Sunday morning, March 16, 2025 at Eden Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, March 18, 2024 at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Monday, March 17, 2025 at the funeral home and other times at the residence.

Bud was born in Rockingham County on January 31, 1938, a son of Henry Harrison Jones and Myrtle Chatman Jones, both deceased.  He retired from Unifi with over 30 years of service.  He was a member of Hampton Heights Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Mozelle Stone and his brother, Jimmy Jones.

Bud is survived by his wife of over 67 years, Lois Mabe Jones; his daughter, Kathy Hayden; his siblings, Patsy Eanes, Peggy Hopkins, Henrietta Hale, Linda Walker, Toni Jones, Mack Jones and Bobby Jones; his grandchildren, Henry Hopkins and Anthony Hopkins; and his great grandchildren, Hunter, Korbin, Campbell, Logan, Lexi, Rhylen, Liam and Sophia.
