Thomas Michael Patterson, Sr., 73, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2023, at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center.

Per his wishes, there will be no formal services at this time.

A native of Danville, Thomas was born May 9, 1950, to the late John Patterson and Iris Brumfield Patterson. He served his country in the United States Army, and later went on to work as a carpenter.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Gentry Patterson.

He is survived by his children, Ashley Patterson of Eden, Thomas M. Patterson, Jr. and wife Angela of Danville; siblings, Ronnie Patterson, Tommy Patterson, Mark Patterson, and Danny Patterson all of Concord, Joy Ange of Savannah, Georgia, Marty Patterson of Germany; grandchildren, Thomas M. Patterson, III., Angel M. Patterson, Miyah L. Patterson, Ashlee Patterson; and great grandchild, Sophia Reese Patterson.
