Thomas Richard "Ricky" Stowe, 66, of Axton, VA passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at his residence.

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Friday, August 15, 2025, at Roselawn Burial Park in Martinsville, VA.   The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home and other times at the residence.

Ricky was born in Martinsville on November 24, 1958, a son of William Randolph Stowe and Mary Stone Stowe, both deceased.  He was a retired deputy with the Martinsville Henry County Sheriff's Department with 20 years of service.  He also served on the Rescue Squad and helped his father as a mechanic.  He enjoyed playing golf.  He was a deacon at Willis Memorial Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his stepson, Joseph Wilson.

Ricky is survived by his wife, Jill Stowe; his daughters, Crystal Stowe (John Wilson) of Winston-Salem and Angela Stowe (Tommy Ingram) of Collinsville; his son, Joshua Harris of Greensboro; his step children, Jennifer Wilson, Jonathan Wilson (Peggy), John Paul Wilson (Katie) and Jamie Profitt (Kenny); his siblings, Michael Stowe (Mary of Axton and Sandra Barrett (Richard) of Richmond; his grandchildren, Claire Wilson Stowe, Jimmy W. Rea, Katie R. Rea, Brandon L. Cox, Eve M. Cox; and his step grandchildren, William Lovett, Kaylee Profitt, McKenzie Profitt, Ryan Profitt, Noah Profitt, MiKayla Wilson and John Wilson.
