Mr. Thomas Sherman Wright, Sr., 79, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020 at his residence.

The funeral service will be 10:00AM Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Ridge-View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday morning from 9:00 until 10:00AM prior to the service at the funeral home, and other times at the residence.

A native of Rockingham County, he was born on July 27, 1940 to the late Warren Sherman Wright, and Ellie Brightwell Wright.  He retired as a supervisor for Dupont (now Invista) on July 14, 2020 after 58 years of faithful service.  He was a member of New Heights Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Brenda Wright Moore.

He is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Kay "Frankie" B. Wright of the home; children, Tommy Wright and wife Kim of Eden, Louie Bullins of Stoneville, Darren Wright and wife Karen of Eden, Lee Bullins and wife Jennifer of Greensboro, Leigh Ann Thore and husband Kevin of Eden, Renee Bullins of Stoneville, and Jerry Wright and wife Pam of Eden; siblings, Bill Wright and wife Peggy of Eden, Florence Price of Eden, Arlene Roberts and husband Joe of Eden, Martha Wright of Eden, and Louise Price and husband Philip of Eden; grandchildren, Dustin Wright and wife Rachel, Randy Martin and wife Elizabeth, Chelsea Farmer, Cassidy Corum and husband Christian, Kristen Martin, Jacob Wright, Taylor Wright, Jordan Jackson, Forrest Bullins, Maggie Bullins, Maison Bullins, and Trooper Wright; great grandchildren, Landon Wright, Carson Corum, Blakely Wright, Jocelyn Grace, and Silas Wright.
