Timothy Wayne Burroughs, 81, of Stoneville passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024, at his residence.

Memorial services will be private.

Wayne was born in Rockingham County on March 20, 1943, a son of Harvey Louis Burroughs and Sara "Ellen" Craig Burroughs, both deceased.  He was a veteran of the US Air Force and served as a fireman for the City of Eden for over 30 years.

He is survived by his sons, Timothy Wayne Burroughs, Jr. and wife Melissa of Stoneville and Brandon Lee Burroughs of Atlanta, GA; his sister, Brenda Beach and husband James of Eden; his grandchildren, Bryce Burroughs and wife Libby and Bethany Burroughs; and his special caregiver, Keelia Morton.
