Timothy "Tim" Lynn McCrickard, 64 of Eden, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Transitions Life Care in Raleigh.  Tim was a kind, gentle, dedicated and loyal husband, father, brother, uncle and friend.

A memorial service will be held at 4 pm Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 3 until 4 pm before the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of Mike McCrickard, 176 Brandywine Drive, Eden, NC.

Tim was born on April 3, 1961, in Leaksville, North Carolina, to Ruth Brown McCrickard. He graduated from Morehead High School in 1979.

That same year, Tim began working at Reggie Denney Auto Repair, where he stayed until 1986. In 1986, he opened his own business, Tim's Garage, which he ran alongside his brother, Mike McCrickard, until 1998. When the brothers purchased computers for the garage, they became fascinated by technology, leading them to close the shop and pursue careers in the IT field. Tim went on to work for several companies as an IT Specialist and Infrastructure Architect. Most recently, he was employed by Brady Services.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Kendra Jacobs McCrickard; his sons, Timothy Cayce McCrickard (Brandi) and their expected son, Timothy Isaac McCrickard, and Russell Hartshorn (Jessie); his siblings, Sam H. McCrickard, Jr. (Sharon), Debra McCrickard Madison, and Michael McCrickard (Audrey); his nephews, Michael McCrickard (Chelsea), Clayton McCrickard (Ashley), and Josh Madison (Tiffanie), along with several grand-nieces and grand-nephews. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Heather Hueter (Allen), mother-in-law, Sandi Jacobs, special friends, Bill and Lou Roland, Jeffrey Seagraves, Buzzy Lawson, and Derrick and Ursula Shropshire.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Rockingham County or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
