Trudie Ann McKinney Dalton, 81, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at UNC Rockingham Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 pm Saturday before the service at the funeral home and other times at the residence.

Trudie was born in Eden on January 1, 1944, a daughter of Brice McKinney and Mildred Robertson McKinney, both deceased.  She retired from Karastan.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Michelle Spencer, and her brother, Michael McKinney.

Trudie is survived by her children, Renee Lee (Dale) of Bassett, VA, Monique Woods (Jon) of Eden and Andy Dalton of Eden; her sisters, Pat Teague (Mike) of Tennessee, Sue Burgess of Burlington; her grandchildren, Seth Woods and Kayla Spencer; her nieces and nephews, Patrick Teague (Katherine), Ryan Teague (Elizabeth), Amanda Pickard (Eric), Amy Alvarado (Victor), Michael McKinney (Jody); and her great nieces and great nephews, Brecan, Aubren, Miles and Stokely.
