Tyra Helene Dalton Hinton, 70, of Eden passed away on Monday, November 18,2024 at Annie Penn Memorial Hospital.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 3,2024 at 1pm at Boone and Cooke Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service from 12 until 1pm at the funeral home.

Tyra was born on June 11,1954 in Corona California, a daughter of David Tyner Dalton and Helen Settle Dalton, both deceased. Tyra was a Captain in the Army and loved being in the military and serving her country. She loved the Lord and her church. She required a bachelor's degree in music from N.C. A&T University AGGIE PRIDE!. She stayed a devoted Aggie fan for life and was a true San Fransisco 49ers fan.

Tyra is survived by her son, Adolphus Hinton of Eden; her sister, Ginger Dalton of High Point; her brother, Vinton Dalton and Wife, Sakethia of Madison; her niece, Dwala Dalton and nephews, Micah Dalton and William Dalton and wife, Lea.
