Virginia O'Dell Ramsey, 82, of Ridgeway, VA passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Martinsville Health & Rehabilitation Center.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Sunday, January 14, 2024 at Boone & Cooke Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery in Ridgeway.  The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 pm Sunday at the funeral home.

Virginia was born in Henry County, Virginia on April 21, 1941, a daughter of Ernest O'Dell and Margie Belton O'Dell, both deceased.  She was a retired secretary with Martinsville Grocery.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Harvey "Bob" Ramsey; and her sister, Evelyn Fulcher.

Virginia is survived by her sons, Todd Ramsey and wife Robin of Roanoke, Fred Ramsey of Eden and Deedy Ramsey of Ridgeway; her grandchildren, Julie and Hannah, Melinda Evans and husband Todd and their children, Callie and Colby; her nieces Karen Davis, Sharon Craig, Jerry Fulcher, Victor Fulcher; and several other nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to New Beginnings Church.
